Traditionally a Minangkabau (Indonesian) dish, Rendang has become a Malaysian-Singaporean delicacy. The slow cooked chicken stew with spices and coconut milk is deeply flavourful. It usually takes longer to cook this dry curry but our spice blend helps to keep the preparation quick and simple. The ‘Kerisik’ (roasted coconut) and kaffir lime makes it quite addictive. Lovely accompaniment to rice and bread – awesome in a pita pocket or a tortilla wrap.

Spice mix can be stored in a cool dry place for a month. It can be stored for 3 months in the fridge and up to 6 months in the freezer.
