Kurma Recipe

250g Vegetables/

Chicken/Lamb

1 Sachet of Kurma Spice Mix

¼ cup yoghurt or

coconut milk

 Half Red Onion,

chopped fine

2 tablespoon oil or ghee

¼ cup water + ¼ or ½ cup water at the end

Salt to Taste

Method for Curry:

1. Heat oil in a saucepan or pot.

2. Add onions and sauté  till translucent.

3. Add Kurma spice mix and fry for 5 mins. Add ¼ cup water and let mixture boil.

4. Add vegetables or meat and coat well with spice mixture.

5. Cover and cook for 5 mins.

6. Add salt and another ¼ or ½ cup water, a little at a time if curry is too thick.

Simmer for another 5 mins.

7. Add coconut milk or yogurt and cook for 5 mins.

8. Taste for spice and salt.

9. Enjoy with Rice or Bread (Chappati, Naan, Prata or French Loaf).
